Rick Hewatt of Checker Cab
Company will be introducing a new vehicle to the Atlanta
taxi market. Recently, Hewatt added a 2003 London Fleet Taxi
to his fleet. The London taxi is known for it's descriptive
shape, accessibility, and comfort. The only cities within
the United States to have the London Fleet Taxis are San
Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. The London cab holds five
people comfortably, and has two folding seats. In addition,
the 2.4-liter diesel cab is designed to last 500,000 miles
and gets 24 miles to the gallon in the city. The Divisions
of Taxicabs and Vehicles for Hire would like to welcome the
new vehicle.
